Descripción: Julio Cesar Chavez was thinking about retiring in shame after he couldn't knock out a nobody by the name of Matt Vanda.Chavez Jr won about 6 o 7 rounds. He never hurt Vanda but he won the fight by a close decision or draw at worst. The people were upset at on judge who had Jr. widely ahead. Other than that neither fighter put up a spectacular performance to deserve a win. Chavez was very slightly a bit more winded than the tired Vanda in the last 3 rounds but never hurt.The rematch is schedule for September 25 2008.
